This policy explains how STICKALEX LTD, trading as StickaLex, collects and uses personal data when you use our website, contact us, request a quote, place an order, or interact with our social media pages. STICKALEX LTD is registered in Scotland under company number SC693502.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, business name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery address, project or artwork details, correspondence, and records relating to quotes, orders, invoices and payments. We also collect limited technical and usage information where you consent to cookies or analytics.
How we use your information
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, prepare and manage quotes, provide products and services, deliver orders, process payments, provide customer support, maintain business records, improve our website and, where permitted, send relevant marketing communications. Our legal bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, and consent where required.
Sharing data
We only share information where it is necessary to provide our services or meet legal obligations. This can include payment providers, delivery and courier partners, IT hosting and email providers, address-lookup services, professional advisers and public authorities. We require service providers to handle data securely and only for the agreed purpose.
Facebook and Instagram
When we use Meta services to publish content to our Facebook Page or Instagram account, our internal publishing tools use authorised Page and account access tokens. These are used only to publish and manage StickaLex business content and to review Page-level performance where permission has been granted. We do not use these tools to collect personal information from visitors’ Facebook or Instagram profiles.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses essential cookies needed for security and basic operation. Optional analytics or marketing cookies are used only where you have given consent through our cookie controls. You can change your browser settings or withdraw optional cookie consent at any time.
Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, including to meet accounting, tax and legal requirements. Financial and transaction records are normally retained for at least six years. We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect information, although no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to access, correct, erase, restrict or transfer your personal data, or object to certain processing. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Data deletion requests
To request deletion of personal data held by StickaLex, email hello@stickalex.co.uk with the subject “Data deletion request”. We will verify your request and respond in line with applicable law. Some information may need to be retained where we have a legal obligation to do so.
